You'll probably be up late tonight anyway finishing those last minute taxes, so take a few minutes to step outside for a somewhat rare celestial event. Tonight (well, actually early tomorrow morning), there will be a "blood moon" lunar eclipse.

It's called a "blood moon" these days because it takes on a rusty red color.

Of course this is all weather permitting. As I type right now, it's somewhat overcast, but hopefully we'll be able to get at least a glimpse for part of it when it starts at 2am.

The good news thought - this is actually the first of four lunar eclipses over the next year and a half. Your next chance to catch one will be in October.
