A multi-car crash on Route 72 at Marsha Drive in Stafford Friday morning killed one and injured several others. 

A 2017 Jeep Cherokee driven by 22-year-old Richard Labarbiera Jr. of Paramus was heading north on Marsha Drive crossing over Route 72 when he was hit by a 2013 Ford Focus driven by 73-year-old Barbara Angeline.

Angeline's vehicle then struck a 2009 Chrysler Van driven by 61-year-old Susan Destefanis. Angeline's Ford Focus struck two other vehicles waiting at a light on the opposite side of Marsha Drive before finally coming to a stop.

Angeline suffered serious injuries and was transported to Jersey Shore Trauma Center. Her passenger, 91 year-old Johannah Griffin was killed.

Destefanis was transported to Atlantic City Trauma Center. Other driver's suffered minor injuries and were transported to South Ocean Medical Center.

Preliminary investigation by Patrolman Justin Pascale shows Angeline failed to stop at a red light.
