Spring Is Halfway Over Today

As we get closer to the first weekend of May 2016, it's hard to believe that today, May 5th, marks the halfway point through spring!

We've had our official countdown to Memorial Day Weekend up for a month now, and as of this writing we're just over three weeks away from the unofficial start of summer at the Jersey Shore.

But what about the official start of summer?

This year, summer officially arrives on June 20th (at 6:34 at night, for those keeping track).

Spring began on March 20th this year (actually, we had the earliest start to spring since 1896!).

So today, May 5th, we're halfway through spring. Hard to believe, especially the way the weather has felt this past week or so!
