9TH ANNUAL STATE OF THE CHAMBER coming up in Little Egg Harbor

All business people are invited to attend the annual premier membership event sponsored by the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce. The 9th Annual State of the Chamber will be held Tuesday, January 8, from 8:30 am till 12 noon, at Sea Oaks Golf Club99 Golf View Drive, off Route 539, Little Egg Harbor. The $35 fee includes full breakfast with omelet station.

Keynote speaker is Joel Naroff, President and founder of Naroff Economic Advisors, a strategic economic consulting firm. He advises companies from a wide range of industries on the risks and opportunities that economic developments may have on the organization's operating environment. He will give an honest and educated insight about 2013 and what the business community can expect post Sandy.

Speakers also include Assemblywoman DiAnne Gove with updates from the state. Ken McGill, Managing Director of Rockport Analytics, specializing in travel and tourism research, will discuss the recent LBI Region Tourism Economic Study and how those numbers will impact the rebuilding efforts within the community. Kelly Schult, Vice President of Communications and Public Relations of New Orleans Convention and Visitor Bureau, will present best practices learned from the New Orleans crisis and recovery strategies, following Hurricane Katrina.
