The snow that falls Wednesday night will likely be more of a nuisance than a big storm.LIght rain will start to fall on Wednesday afternoon and change to light snow from north to south in the evening leaving 1-3 inches of wet snow across southern & central  counties before ending early Thursday morning.

No advisories have been issued.

Hard-hit Long Island, which is still digging out from 2-3 feet of snow from last week's nor'easter could pick up another 4-5 inches from Wednesday's storm.

There are no concerns about high winds or flooding on Wednesday night.

Forecasters are also keeping an eye on a storm that could affect us by the weekend.
