The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Sussex and Northern Passaic counties for this evening through tomorrow morning.

As a storm system tracks across New Jersey tonight, precipitation will fall. "Temperatures across most of the state will be well above the freezing mark, but in North Jersey we will likely be cold enough for some light snow and freezing rain," says Townsquare meteorologist Dan Zarrow.

As this system exits on Monday morning, we could be left with a messy commute, with patches of ice across the state. "This won't be a monster winter storm, but be prepared," advises Zarrow.
