Ever since word leaked out that MTV had rented a home on Pelican Island for Snooki and J-Woww to tape their TV show "Snooki & J-Woww" many residents and government officials have spoken out against the idea and expressed their concerns.

After the Star Ledger reported that members of the Pelican Island Property Owners Association held a meeting to discuss ways to prevent the former "Jersey Shore" co-stars from being able to tape, Polizzi came out swinging with her thoughts.

The members of the Association decided against taking any action until the Berkeley Township Council meets tonight according to the Star Ledger. Berkeley Township Mayor Carmen Amato suggested last week that the township will consider drafting an ordinance requiring permits to film.

The home is registered to Michael Loundy according to the Ocean County Clerk’s Office who is the owner of Seaside Realty according to the Star Ledger. He is also a member of the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District.

Berkeley Township Council President James Byrnes tells the newspaper that the filming would only be a “distraction” to those still trying to rebuild from Superstorm Sandy and would bring unwanted traffic and noise from fans trying to see the home where the pair would be staying.

Polizzi reacted last week to Byrnes' commenst on her Twitter account.
