Slippery Commute in New Jersey
New Jersey faces a slippery commute from this morning's snow.
The worst of the snow will fall in far South Jersey where up to 2 inches could accumulate.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem counties until 1 p.m. this afternoon.
The rest of the state is expecting an inch or so of accumulation. However, the snow will stick immediately to untreated surfaces including roadways, which could create some slippery spots. All snow should be done falling by early Wednesday afternoon.
Speed on the New Jersey Turnpike has been reduced to 45 MPH between #3 (Route 168) and #14 (I-78). Philadelphia International Airport has a 30 minute delay on all flights while Newark, LaGuardia and JFK are not reporting any delays according to FlightAware.com

The snow is part of a cold front that will push across New Jersey from west-to-east bringing more late winter cold with temperatures only in the the 30s through the weekend. There is the threat of more snow or a wintry mix on Sunday that could continue into Monday.
