Six Ocean County people face aggravated assault charges in Manalapan, accused of ganging up on a township 19-year-old in a parking lot Sunday night.

Alexander Maddona, 19; Harvey Hatfield, 21; Gavin Kenney, 19; and a 17-year-old, all of South Toms River, and Zachary Seeds, 20, and Kayla Lutz, 20, of Berkeley Township, allegedly hauled out folding knives and a crowbar, according Manalapan PD Captain Tom Barstow.

They are also charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and criminal mischief.

Police were alerted to the fracas near St. Andrews Place by nearby residents.

Bail for each at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) in Freehold was set at $60,000.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
