Police say there are no confirmed reports of shots having been fired in the shopping mall. State Police and other agencies are at the scene investigating.

Twenty-six-year-old Brittany Berdy says she was eating dinner at a restaurant at the mall when she went outside and saw the tires explode on a car. She says the tire explosion sounded like gunshots.

Officials from the Bergen County and Paramus police departments weren't immediately available to comment.
