Shoplifting Suspect Wanted in Toms River

Toms River police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for allegedly shoplifting $500 worth of items from the Kohl's Department Store on Route 37 West Saturday.

The suspect is accused of stealing three Fit Bit wrist bands on a sales display around 10 a.m., then fleeing on foot towards the Garden State Parkway after being confronted by a store worker, according to Police Department Spokesman Ralph Stocco.

Police have released surveillance footage of the suspect. Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect should contact Detective Roger Hull at 732-349-0150 extension 1291.
