According to the Asbury Park Press, First Assistant Prosecutor Richard Incremona announced that during the past two months, four County Investigators and one Sergeant have been assigned exclusively to handle criminal investigations in the city at the Main Street satellite office. Previously one or two detectives were assigned to Asbury Park.

The announcement follows news of the fourth fatal shooting in the City on Washington Street Friday night claiming the life of 20-year-old Tyrell Howard. There have been 24 people shot in Asbury Park so far this year.
