In Manahawkin ....Saturday, August 10th .... at 2 PM....The Stafford Branch of the Ocean County Library will be showing the feature film “Barrymore.” John Barrymore reckons with the ravages of his life of excess, he rents an old theater to rehearse for a backer’s audition to raise money for a revival of his 1920 Broadway triumph in Richard III. Rated PG-13; 83 minutes.

This weekend on Long Beach Island check out St. Francis Center as they Host their Annual "Festival of the Sea" Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th from 6-10 pm. There will be delicious carnival food favorites, pizza, seafood and much more.

Bring the kids to the Tuckerton Branch of the Ocean County Library System on Monday, August 12th for "Leaf Art" ! Make animals/pictures using leaves. For ages 10-16 only. Register online or call 609-296-1470. Begins at 2 PM

In Stafford Township .....Members of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension, Ocean County Master Gardeners will be at the Stafford branch of the Ocean County Library on Monday, Aug. 12 and 26 to answer any gardening questions you may have, and/or to diagnose any of your plant cuttings that look in need of attention. The program is free and open to the public and there is no need to register.
