Meet the loveable Leo!

Leo is a 1 1/2 year old Tibetan Mastiff that came to us from some pretty horrendous circumstances. He was imported from China only to spend his life in a tiny cage in a backyard with no shelter from the elements. He was in such terrible condition when he arrived that we didn't know where to start. After many months of medical treatment, surgeries, and lots of TLC, Leo is positively thriving now. He will always have some medical conditions that will need to be managed with long-term medication but Leo is like a brand new pup. Leo has a personality as big and beautiful as he is. He is a born comedian that thoroughly enjoys making you laugh and he just wants to have fun. As is common with his breed, Leo bonds intensely with people and can become overly protective. He needs a family with giant breed experience that will continue the work that we have been doing with him to keep him from behaving like a buffoon with new people. Leo gets along great with other dogs and would do best with larger dogs for obvious reasons. He will need a home with no cats and will also need a fenced yard as daily exercise is important to his well being. If you can provide our Leo with the loving, safe, happy home that he is so deserving of, come in and meet our silly boy.
