Shawn & Sue’s Ocean County Pet of the Week

"The Ocean County Breakfast Show" teams up with the Popcorn Park Zoo for a dog or cat ready for their forever home.  This week's Pet of the Week, Maggie, is ready for a best friend!

This beautiful lady is Maggie, a 7 year old rottweiler/hound mix that is hoping for a fabulous home of her own with a family to love her. Maggie came to us from our Newark facility after she was given up by her family who could no longer care for her. It was all for the best though, because poor Maggie was quite neglected. Our medical department got her in tip top shape after removing some fractured and diseased teeth, and Maggie is feeling like a new girl! This sweet and gentle lady is such a doll and you will just love her. She simply turns to mush when you show her some attention and she is a big belly-rub kind of girl that flops on her back instantly. Maggie absolutely loves people and really has never met anyone she didn't like. She does get a little agitated by some dogs though, so she may it will have to be the right dog for Maggie to click with. She is so well behaved and mature, and will transition easily into any good home. If you can offer Maggie the happy life that she deserves, come in and meet this darling lady.
