Second Jewish Teen Assaulted in Lakewood

Lakewood police have questioned a suspect in connection with an attack on a Jewish teen Tuesday night, the second such incident in recent weeks, according to The Lakewood Scoop.

The Frum girl was on Lexington Avenue when a man approached her shortly before 11 p.m. seeking the time, then assaulted her. The girl was not seriously injured, according to police.

Authorities and Hatzolah members searched the area and spotted the suspect about three blocks away.

In a similar incident reported by The Lakewood Scoop, another Frum girl was assaulted and thrown to the ground on the train tracks near Park Avenue.

It's unclear if the incidents are related.
