Sea Girt Police Seeking Suspicious Driver

Sea Girt Police are hoping tips from the public will lead them to a driver who may have been following children on bikes on two separate occasions recently in the Borough. Authorities describe the driver as a bearded man in a green or dark colored sedan. Police say one of the incidents involved a girl biking alone on Carriage Way.

Police Captain Kevin Davenport says he doesn't want to panic parents or children, but wants to alert residents to be aware of their surroundings and to report anything suspicious. He adds increased patrols are in place.
