Another school bus accident in New Jersey, this time carrying students from Toms River Intermediate East School.

A school bus and truck have been involved in an accident on Fisher Boulevard in Toms River. Nine students from were brought to Community Medical Center for minor injuries, the bus driver suffered a leg injury, however the driver of the truck suffered more severe injuries.

Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy say the bus was traveling south on Fischer Blvd this afternoon when the accident occurred. Toms River Police, Ocean County Sheriff's Department, and Ocean County Prosecutor's Office will be investigating the cause of the accident.

Mastronardy adds the bus was equipped with seat belts which they believe reduced any serious accidents.
