The School Aid March on Trenton is March 5th.

Cuts in school aid around the state and right here in Ocean and Monmouth Counties have left many angry and coming up on March 5th it's going to be a "March on Trenton".

Nearly 70 districts around the State will be sending people to speak out against the aid cuts at the Statehouse in Trenton on Tuesday, March 5th.

In a recent Patch article, it's reported that one of the state's largest districts (Toms River) will participate in the march. Residents of Toms River, Beachwood, South Toms River, and Pine Beach are encouraged to participate, and the district will be sending buses to Trenton for participants.

In another Patch article, another big school district here at the Shore is also planning on going to the March as Brick Township Schools plan on attending as well.
