Manchester Township Police say a 2016 T80 Tri-Axle dump truck was heading northbound when it collided with a 2008 Nissan Altima who was turning left onto Harry Wright Boulevard.

The collision caused both vehicles to swerve aside with the truck hitting road signs and trees before it fell over and spilled stones it was carrying into the roadway closing it up temporarily around 3:30 pm on Monday.

Andrea Penna, 24, of Whiting suffered non-life threatening injuries after the truck fell onto the roof of her Nissan Altima causing it to collapse.

She was extricated and brought to Community Medical Center as was her passenger, 22-year old Kaitlyn McCabe of Lakehurst.

Tayfun Obut, 41, of Browns Mills received medical attention at that hospital as well.

No charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation.
