River Lady to the Rescue!
The crew of Toms River's own River Lady riverboat made their first-ever water rescue on Saturday.

The Riverside Signal reports crew members spotted an overturned sailboat off Ocean Gate as they were preparing to head back to port. As they got closer, they saw a man in the water nearby.
The sailor, identified as Gilbert Nielsen, was helped aboard the River Lady for a ride back to shore. A tow boat recovered his capsized craft a short time later.
