Reward Offered in Gas Station Robberies

Authorities in Middlesex County are seeking the public's help for information leading to the arrest of individuals who are suspected of participating in a series of gas station robberies in Central Jersey. 

Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County Inc. is offering cash rewards for anyone who can provide information anonymously.

The robberies occurred on Sept. 21 at the BP gas station on Route 27 at Finnegans Lane in North Brunswick, Sept. 18 at the Fuel One South on Route 1 in Edison, Sept. 16 at the Valero on Route 1 south in South Brunswick and Sept. 15 at the Exxon station on Route 18 south at Rues Lane in East Brunswick.

In each of the robberies, employees were threatened with shotguns and robbed at gunpoint.  Two employees were assaulted in the North Brunswick robbery and one employee was injured in the South Brunswick case.  Each of the robberies occurred in the early-morning hours and in two of the cases, the suspects fled the scene in a dark minivan.
