Remembering Phil Citta and Helping Fight Cancer in Ocean County

The annual fundraiser helps to fund various items at the center, including a vehicle used to transport patients in need to and from treatments at the center.

Today (2/15) is the 12th Annual Phil Citta Memorial Fundraiser. Phil Citta, who was a pillar of the Ocean County community, will be remembered today and proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards his namesake ... the J Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Phil Citta died in 2004 following a bout with pancreatic cancer. To date, the Citta Fundraiser has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars towards cancer research!

The event takes place today at the Office Lounge in Toms River from 11 am to 2 am. Stop by the Office Lounge today and help out with what has become an annual tradition.
