So this past weekend I dusted off my bike. Ive been wanting to get the bike out for some time and finally I did it. Of course my tires were flat and I was worried they might need new tubes , but after pumping them up they were fine. Then of course I had to clean the entire bike (nothing says lazy like DUST)
but after alil wash the "Huffy" was ready to roll!

So off I go ... But here's the question ? Is it a sign I'm getting older when after riding my legs hurt the next day ? I didnt ride 100 miles but I rode a few . When I came in Monday morning to do the OCBS I felt it! Some have said it was obvious .... muscles I havent used in awhile were sore. That probably is true , but you know what I mean when I say it just is a pain ( literally ) to feel pain after a bike ride! Bottom line, now I need to ride more to tighten up those muscles .

Lil History .... The dandy horse, also called Draisienne or laufmaschine, was the first human means of transport to use only two wheels in tandem and was invented by the German Baron Karl von Drais. It is regarded as the forerunner of the modern bicycle and was introduced by Drais to the public in Mannheim in summer 1817 and in Paris in 1818.

Growing up bikes were as important as your baseball glove and football! You needed your bike to get around your neighborhood. Remember those days riding around the neighborhood on a Saturday ?

So do you still ride a bike ?
