A little of this and a little of that heading into the weekend

I’m not real happy about this weather pattern in which the last couple of weekends have not been great because it’s my only time to get to the beach. Looks like another mixed bag this weekend with Sunday better than Saturday. There’s only 7 weekends left until Labor Day and it seems that once we get to August the days just fly by.

The good times continued Thursday for Cincinnati Reds rookie Todd Frazier of Toms River. The 26-year old former Toms River South and Rutgers star is expected to be a major contributor the rest of the way for the Reds, who lead Pittsburgh by a half-game in the National League Central Division.
