Purse-Grabbing Suspects Sought in Brick Township

Two women wanted in connection with a March 10 purse snatch in Brick Township remain outside the law.

Police today issued surveillance images in hopes that one or more will jog someone's memory and lead to their capture.

According to authorities, one woman is suspected of clipping the bag, and the other is suspected of being involved in charges that were later rung up on a credit card belonging to the victim.

The card registered more than $900 in purchases from nearby stores and gas stations, police said.

The pair left in an older model, red Mazda Tribute, police said, but no license plate was observed.
