Robert Guiendon, 23, of Mayetta, faces a burglary count in connection with the incident. Police say he's currently serving time in Northern State Prison.

According to township police, the Burr Street dwelling was rifled on or about July 21st, 2010. Detective William Hetrick combed the aftermath and found a window screen that he believed was removed by whoever ransacked the house.

Hetrick found a usable print on the screen and sent it to the FBI laboratories in the summer of 2010. It wasn't until this month that the IAFIS system returned a match to Guiendon.

Charges were filed May 23.
