Just a little while ago, I had the honor of presenting the Island Heights Volunteer Fire Company with their official certificate for winning our "Best Looking Fire Truck In Ocean County" contest.

Their classic, nearly 100 year old Aherns Fox fire truck won our poll by a landslide.

So we took the short ride from the WOBM studio down Route 37 to present the fine firefighters in Island Heights with their official certificate.

Take a look:

You can catch the classic ride tomorrow in the Ocean County St. Patrick's Day Parade in Seaside Heights.

Plus, you can also catch the whole gang on June 24th for the 19th annual Summerbrew festival, right at the firehouse on Lake Avenue in Island Heights. Just click here for all the info!

My thanks to the whole Island Heights Volunteer Fire Company not only for their hospitality, but for all that they and all of our fire departments do every day to keep Ocean County safe!
