The search resumes today for a hunter who has been missing since Friday when he failed to return home from a hunting trip.

Barnett Zeldin, 74, of Mays Landing never returned home from a hunting trip in the Bass River State Forest in the undeveloped Warren Grove area along the Ocean and Burlington County line according to the South Jersey Times.

Zeldin was accompanied by a small white fox terrier dog on the trip.

A ground and air search was conducted on Saturday by New Jersey State Police. His car was found in Woodland Township near Lake Oswego according to the Press of Atlantic City.

Zeldin is described as a white male, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Zeldin's whereabouts should contact New Jersey State Police.
