Police Release Sketch of Man Found Dead in Hamilton, Ask for Help with Identification
State Police have released a sketch in an attempt to positively identify a man’s body discovered last year in Hamilton.
The remains were discovered July 2011 in a wooded area off South Broad Street off Interstate 295 in an area frequently visited by homeless people, according to State Police.
The sketch was created by a NJSP forensic artist using a witnesses description of the man and in collaboration with a forensic anthropologist who carefully examined and measured the man’s bone structure. Police have also released a photo of a watch found with the remains.
The man is described as being approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, and may be between 45 and 55 years of age. He was wearing plaid (navy, white, and red) pajama bottoms and a white t-shirt. He was also wearing blue medical/surgical type shoes with two Velcro straps (see attached photo). Typically, this type of footwear is utilized by people diagnosed with diabetes.
The man is believed to have been 5 feet 9 inches tall, and possibly 45 to 55 years old. He was wearing navy, white and red plaid pajama bottoms and a white t-shirt with blue medical shoes that are usually worn by people suffering from diabetes. The man had a gold ring and a designer watch.
