Police Identify Man Shot Dead in Asbury Park

Authorities have identified the victim of Saturday night's shooting out front of the Asbury Park Deli.

30 year old Jerome Wright, of Asbury Park, was fatally shot at the deli on Atkins Ave. around 10:30 p.m.

The Asbury Park Press reports he was pronounced dead at 10:50 p.m. at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office and Asbury Park Police are joining forces in the investigation.
