A two-alarm fire broke out at a home on Miller Avenue in Point Pleasant on Saturday morning.

Point Pleasant Police reached Saturday had no details about the fire immediately available. One nearby resident said she heard lots of sirens heading for the fire.

The Asbury Park Press reports that the home's occupants safely escaped the fire which broke out around 9 a.m.  A ladder truck sprayed water on the roof in order to get contol of the flames according to the newspaper.

The NJ Fire Incidents Twitter account said as of about 10:20 a.m., the fire in the two-story wood frame home was still continuing. Its administrator told New Jersey 101.5 via Twitter he had just left the scene a few minutes earlier
