Point Borough Delays Bar Vote

Point borough officials postpone a final vote on an ordinance that would ban bars and restaurants from selling alcoholic beverages between the hours of 12midnight and 6AM.

If a business wants to sell drinks overnight, they could pay a fee to the borough based on maximum occupancy. The issue was originally brought up as a quality of life issue after several crude incidents last summer.
