Two suspects who authorities say robbed a victim in Plumsted while holding the muzzle of a gun to his head Sunday night remain on the loose today.

According to information from the office of Ocean County Prosecutor's office, the victim told Plumsted police that he was accosted outside the SuperMich Mexican Supermarket in New Egypt's Oakford Lake section between 9:00 and 9:30 PM.

The victim related that he was confronted near the Oakford Bridge by two men in hoodies who asked his name and told him to spell it. While doing so, according to police, one of them whipped out a black handgun, ordered him to the ground, pressed the gun to his temple, and took his money and a Sprint smart phone.

Both suspects are described as black. One is described as tall and thin, between 5'9" and six feet in height, with short hair and a medium-to-dark complexion. The other is described as shorter, also with short hair and a dark complextion.
