Plane Makes Emergency Landing At Newark
A United Express flight from Pittsburgh made an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport because of a smoke condition.
Republic Airlines flight 289, operating as United Express from Newark, returned to Newark around 11:15 a.m. when smoke began to fill the plane.
