Pills, Pot and a Stun Gun in Brick Township
Hundreds of prescription painkillers, a stun gun, cocaine and marijuana are rounded up along with three suspects in a Brick Township drug probe.
Police say that Sal Sanzo, 32, and Carissa Elmiger, 27, were apprehended last Wednesday after a search of their house on Burnt Tavern Road. Authorities say they seized oxycodone, soma, morphine, methadone, and suboxone in addition to cocaine, marijuana, the stun gun and $1,100 cash.
Sanzo is charged with five counts of possession of controlled dangerous substances, possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute. possession of a stun gun, possession of an unlawful weapon, possession of a wepaon for unlawful purpose, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Elmiger is charged with possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute as well as possession of oxycodone and drug paraphernalia.
According to police, Daniel Mooney, 32, turned himself in two days later. He faces counts of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three were released to await court dates.
