Last week, I told you about the free Star Wars branded virtual reality viewers that Google was giving away. I say "was" because they went fast. And, as most things Star Wars, there is a burgeoning secondary market popping up.

I was able to grab myself one with the Stormtrooper design on it. And yes, I did debate on whether I should open it or not, but decided that the point of these things is to actually see what they can do, not have them sit on a shelf for years hoping that they grow in value.

But some people are trying to cash in right now. There are some listed on eBay for as much as $150 for a set of all four designs.

Unopened, of course.

And, I have to stress that this is what people are trying to sell them for. The highest bids that I actually saw were around $20, which is about what you would pay for a plain Google Cardboard viewer, anyway.

Would you pay a premium for something like this? (If so, I have a Stormtrooper one. Opened, though, I'm afraid).
