Pedestrian suffers non-life threatening injuries after being hit by car Saturday
Details are still rolling in as police in Middletown continue their investigation of a pedestrian hit after she was hit by a car around 7 pm Saturday on Bray Avenue near Central Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of town.
A female victim whose name hasn't been released by police was hit as the car was traveling along Bray Avenue and suffered multiple fractures, according to investigators.
She was treated on scene by the Middletown Twp. First Aid Squad before being airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center, but the injuries aren't life threatening.
The driver of the car remained on scene to assist police in the investigation, but no charges have been filed.
