According to the Asbury Park Press, The Borough Council voted to re-establish the parking plan on Laurel, Trenton, Forman and St. Louis Avenues that a judge had earlier invalidated. The council also approved the same restrictions for most roads north of Arnold Avenue.

The restrictions bar anyone without a sticker from parking on those streets between 12:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Signs are posted to indicate where the restrictions apply.

Borough officials established the parking restrictions to crack down the bad behavior of some beach and boardwalk visitors from bleeding into residential neighborhoods at night.
