Overnight Fire in Lakewood

Flames engulfed a Lakewood home above a downtown shop on 2nd street around 3 a.m. The Lakewood Scoop reports the residents were able to escape unharmed.

It took firefighters about an hour to bring the blaze under control. The cause is under investigation.
