It was a night to remember and pray for the victims and their families of the horrific Pittsburgh shootings at the Tree of Life Synagogue. The large crowd gathered for the community-wide interfaith candlelight vigil at Congregation B'nai Isreal in Toms River.

Various religious and civic leaders spoke and the crowd participated in song and prayer on a chilly night in Ocean County.

We were honored to attend on behalf of Townsquare Media and 92.7 WOBM. As I made my way around the crowd I saw many tears and also a lot of support and unity. It was inspiring to see this gathering and as one of the speakers said, "an attack on one house of worship is an attack on ALL houses of worship."
