Oprah Keeps the Tradition Going

It's been over 6 months since the final episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show aired and the queen of daytime TV went on to focus on her growing media empire with the launch of her TV network.

A lot of people wondered, would Oprah's Favorite Things end along with the show? Remember those episodes (hilariously parodied by Saturday Night Live) where the audience members lose their collective minds as Oprah teasingly reveals each item on her list and informs the audience that everyone gets to take everything home? (Cynical me always wondered though, what were those taxes like??)

Well, not to worry, Oprah's Favorite Things lives on! In the December issue of O, The Oprah Magazine, she will reveal her Favorite Things and give them away to 12 lucky readers. Sure it's a lot less than a few hundred people in the studio audience, but hey if you think about it, your chances might be better since you don't have to be in the audience to win!
