One Of The Best Parts Of Spring At The Shore

From baseball, to warmer weather, there are lots of things to love when spring arrives in Ocean County. But one of the things that I love the most, one of the truest signs that winter is over to me - the critters.

I love coming home to the sounds of the spring peepers.

I still get all mushy when I see the baby ducks around my neighborhood.

And this morning, I snapped this photo of a majestic swan swimming in a pond near where I live:

They're those subtle things that you don't really notice all that much until it gets cold and they're not around for a couple of months. Then, the critters start to show back up and winter is truly in the rear view mirror for another couple of months.
