One Hurt, No Suspect, No Motive in Lakewood Shooting Probe

A bullet flies through the wall of a Lakewood condo and hits a woman sitting at her kitchen table. She survived, but police are hitting walls in search of a suspect and a motive.

Township officers responded Friday night to a report of a victim with a minor gunshot wound at the Highpoint Condo Complex.

Investigators learned that the woman was struck in the back, and they described her injury as minor. But they traced the bullet's path through the dwelling's interior and exterior walls.
