Investigations of three stabbings within 20 minutes in Brick Township Thursday result in one arrest so far.

Alex Morales, Sr., 36, has been charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and weapons counts for the attack on a woman in his Hooper Avenue house during a domestic iincident.

Police say the woman sustained arm and neck lacerations before escaping to a nearby Walgreen's, where she reported it to authorities.

Morales was incarcerated at the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. Bail was set at $20,000 with no option for release on payment of 10 percent.

The search for a suspect who apparently left two men maimed in Bernard J. Cooke Park off Burnt Tavern Road continues.

According to police, two men sustained stab wounds in the thigh, bicep and chest. Staffers at Ocean Medical Center notified police when the pair entered for treatment.

Acting on their descriptions, local and Ocean County investigators began combing the park but came up empty.
