If you live in a house with kids, parents, or grandparents, there's a good chance you spent part of the weekend watching the Olympics coverage on NBC.  I have fond memories of sitting in the living room with my sister and parents with all our eyes focused on the skaters, skiiers, and other athletes. These days, it's common to have everyone doing their own thing.  With smart phones, tablets, and computers, everyone gets used to watching a different screen from everyone else.  And that's why I love the Olympics!  For more than two weeks, there are opportunities to share a sofa with loved ones, focus on the same exciting programming, which leads to plenty of conversation opportunities.  What's a way to keep the family from scattering once the Olympics are over?  I polled some of my friends and came up with the following list of shows that are good for all ages:

  • American Ninja Warrior
  • Ellen's Game of Games
  • Full House
  • America's Funniest Home Videos
  • Dancing With The Stars
  • Survivor
