Old Bridge Man Assaulted Outside PA Bus Terminal
An Old Bridge was attacked and beaten by a homeless man outside the Port Authority's midtown Manhattan terminal as he hailed a cab on Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The Cliffview Pilot reports the unidentified 52-year-old was punched and pushed to the ground by Sassony Bryant, 31, who allegedly snuck up behind him on Eighth Avenue. Bryant followed the Old Bridge man into a store and demanded his cell phone.
Bryant was arrested on assault and attempted robbery. Bryant was treated at Roosevelt Hospital for facial and elbow injuries.
