Ocean Township Couple Faces Drug, Child Endangerment Counts
A youngster encountered by police during a drug search heaps a child-endangerment charge atop possession counts leveled against a couple in Monmouth’s Ocean Township.
Friday’s warrant search on Raymere Avenue culminated a month-long probe involving Sherman D. Baskerville, 22, and Brianna Shipman, 21, police said.
Officers executing the warrant at 2 PM Friday found marijuana and drug-related items inside, and more weed in a Nissan driven by Baskerville, which was seized, police said.
According to investigators, the youngster was present where the drugs were found.
Both were released to await hearings on three possession and distribution-related counts, plus child endangerment, police said.
