As you travel throughout Ocean County this afternoon, you may notice lines across major roads and highways. It's all in preparation for some expected winter weather.

Thankfully, we're not expecting a major storm, but as we know all too well, even an inch or two can make travel a hassle.

As I was on my way to work earlier, I saw a truck spraying the Garden State Parkway with brine solution, which is designed to keep snow and ice from sticking to roads.

So the good news is, while we may be getting ready to break our early season snow-free streak, at least we'll be prepared for it.

Have you noticed preparations in your neighborhood? Tell us about it in the comments!
