Ocean County's Best Diners, According to Yelp

New Jersey is known for pizza, Taylor Ham, and of course, diners. Right? Ocean County has some GREAT diners.

In fact, you can probably ask your friends and family which diner(s) are their favorite(s), and you could find yourself in a heated debate. Everyone has their favorites.

So after taking a look at Yelp, we were able to find the five highest rated diners throughout Ocean County.

The top rating went to Shut Up and Eat (804 Main Street, Toms River). The popular eatery has an average rating of 4.5 stars over 312 Yelp reviews. Of course, if you've never been to Shut Up and Eat, Yelp reviewers offer this suggestion, "Everyone wears pj's and it really just feels like your have an amazing breakfast at a gmas house."

The Lacey Diner (530 East Lacey Road, Forked River) ranks number two on Yelp. The Forked River staple has an average 5 star rating in 20 Yelp reviews. Lots of Yelp reviewers talk about how this family run business is great to visit during a trip, but locals seem to love the food too!

Beachwood's Sand Castle Diner (634 Atlantic City Blvd, Beachwood) ranks number three on Yelp in Ocean County. The popular diner has an average of a 4.5 star rating in 48 Yelp reviews so far. One Yelp reviewer, Philip S, wrote, "We live in Washington DC and ALWAYS stop at this diner when we visit the jersey shore."
